Newsela: Contains articles (with different reading levels, and Spanish version) covering a wide range of topics. Students can search by interest area and find a variety of articles.

Khan Academy: Students can access a wide range of material covering almost all subjects

Scholastic.com: This publisher has developed a website containing lessons for grades K through 9. Theses lessons cover all topics and have links embedded so that students (and parents) can access material and take virtual field trips (https://classroommagazines.scholastic.com/support/learnathome.html)
