          There are a variety of ways students may enrich their Spanish language learning as well as their cultural knowledge.  If you have the opportunity explore Spanish where it may be used!

           Furthermore, Mastbaum uses a textbook series called Asi Se Dice for Spanish Level 1 and 2 students. Important Information for SENIORS:

If you are in Credit Recovery and need to work on Edgenuity- please continue to do so as well! The date to finish ALL of your Credit Recovery Courses is May 15th!

Complete the NAVIANCE task titled: Senior Game Plan Survey! This is a district requirement and has to be completed!

Student Athletes: Any Student that wants to play in Division 1, 2 or 3 in college MUST sign up with the NCAA Clearance house at https://web3.ncaa.org/ecwr3/. If you need help, please contact Ms. Tran at ttran@philasd.org or 2672520304. If you do not sign up or contact Ms. Tran for help, you will NOT be able to play in your freshman year.

CNN’s website provides quick ten-minute video clips for students featuring a wide variety of news stories. These commercial-free videos are perfect for sharing with students for daily updates. You might also decide to use these videos in a flipped classroom model for students to watch outside of the classroom and come back to class ready to discuss.

The Learning Network

The Learning Network from the New York Times is full of useful resources for students and teachers. There are articles written specifically for student readers and lesson plans that cover a wide range of topics. You’ll find writing prompts, contests and multimedia resources on this website.

NPR News

NPR’s website includes resources in print and audio format. You students might dive into the articles on a tablet or listen to the news updates. Like many news organizations NPR has lots of podcast options for learners at different levels and with varying interests.
