CNN’s website provides quick ten-minute video clips for students featuring a wide variety of news stories. These commercial-free videos are perfect for sharing with students for daily updates. The Learning Network from the New York Times is full of useful resources for students and teachers. There are articles written specifically for student readers and lesson plans that cover a wide range of topics. You’ll find writing prompts, contests and multimedia resources on this website.

Temple Cares (https://education.temple.edu/templecares) is a program through Temple that will train students and help them get jobs. This program is great for HRT students who are looking to start working after graduation.
1199C (https://www.1199ctraining.org/nursing) is another great option. The HRT seniors visited the 1199c in the fall. They have various healthcare program (Home Health aid, Community Health Worker, CNA, LPN, etc.)
